Deepak Shrestha Appointed New Member Secretary of Lumbini Development Trust

Kathmandu: The government has appointed Deepak Shrestha, 46, of Gorkha, as the new Member Secretary of the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT).
Following the Cabinet decision, Prime Minister Sushila Karki—who also oversees the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation—directed Shrestha to uphold the highest standards of integrity while assuming his new responsibilities.
“With trust in you, the government has assigned this responsibility. Act properly and honestly,” the Prime Minister emphasized, adding that the LDT, being a religious institution, requires strict adherence to morality and ethical conduct.
On the occasion, Shrestha committed to working with diligence and honesty, promising to protect and enhance the image of the LDT.
Shrestha brings 17 years of experience in engineering, management, and administration to his new role.
