Bagmati: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is set to inaugurate the Hetauda sub-station of the newly completed Hetauda-Dhalkebar-Inaruwa 400 KV transmission line this afternoon.
The inauguration will take place at Thanabharyang in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-11, Makawanpur, as confirmed by Substation Project Chief Shukraraj Devkota.
The completion of this transmission line marks a significant milestone in strengthening and ensuring a reliable power transmission system within Nepal. It is also anticipated to facilitate uninterrupted energy trade between Nepal and India.
The 154-kilometer-long double circuit power grid, capable of handling up to 4000 megawatts of power, will significantly enhance the country’s energy infrastructure and capacity, officials stated.
