Suspect Arrested in Murder of Nepali Student in Texas

Washington DC: A 51-year-old man from Texas has been arrested in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Nepali student Muna Pandey. The suspect, identified as Bobby Singh Shah, was taken into custody following the discovery of Pandey's body at her apartment in Houston.

Pandey was found dead in her residence at 6363 West Airport Boulevard on Monday, with police confirming she had been shot. The apartment staff had alerted the authorities, who responded to the scene at 5:35 p.m.

Following an investigation, the Houston Police released an image of the suspect on Wednesday, leading to Shah's arrest later that evening. The case has shocked the local Nepali community as they await further details on the investigation.
