Airey Becomes Second Best All-Rounder in the World

Kathmandu: Dipendra Singh Airee, a key player of the Nepali national cricket team, has climbed to second place in the global rankings for T20 all-rounders, as per the latest update by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Airey, who previously held the sixth position, now sits behind England’s Liam Livingston, who leads the rankings with 253 points, while Airee has accumulated 230 points.
In addition to his T20 success, Airee also improved in the ODI international rankings for batsmen, advancing from 45th to 43rd position.
Other Nepali players also made notable appearances in the rankings. Gulshan Jha and Kushal Bhurtel are placed 53rd and 60th among all-rounders respectively. As a team, Nepal ranks 17th in T20 rankings, while in ODI rankings, Aasif Sheikh and Kushal Bhurtel are positioned 82nd and 83rd, with team captain Rohit Kumar Poudel ranked 87th.
