Kathmandu: The Supreme Court of Nepal will conduct hearings on writ petitions of habeas corpus for four hours daily, starting from 11:00 am, during the Dashain festival holidays.

Although the court remains closed from Ghatasthapana (October 3) to Kojagrat Purnima, habeas corpus hearings will be held, except on specific holidays.

The court will not conduct hearings on the day of Ghatasthapana, Saturday, and the day of Vijaya Dashami. However, for the remainder of the Dashain holidays, the Supreme Court will remain open exclusively for habeas corpus cases, ensuring that urgent matters of personal liberty are addressed even during the festival period.
