Ministry of Finance to Prioritize Industrial-Friendly Environment

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance announced its commitment to creating a more conducive environment for commerce and industry in Nepal. During a high-level management meeting at the Ministry of Finance, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel emphasized the importance of enhancing business and industrial sectors to encourage capital mobilization and investment growth.

Minister Paudel directed relevant authorities to maximize their capacity in revenue collection and capital expenditure to boost economic activity. Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire noted that fostering a favorable business and industrial environment would also lead to increased revenue collection.

At the meeting, Budget Division Head Shree Krishna Nepal assured that there are no resource management issues for the reconstruction efforts following the recent flood damage.

Senior ministry officials were also in attendance, underscoring the importance of these initiatives in driving economic recovery and development.
