Chautara: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa emphasized the need for internal reform within the party, urging leaders and cadres to end factionalism and work towards strengthening its foundation. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the BP Study Centre in Sindhupalchok, Thapa warned that persistent factionalism, even at local committee levels, could lead to the party's decline.

"We must purify our party and prioritize unity over internal divisions," he stated, encouraging collective efforts to rebuild trust and effectiveness within the NC.

Thapa also highlighted the importance of national policies that focus on boosting investment in agriculture. He underscored that relying on foreign employment is only a temporary solution, stressing that sustainable development and prosperity are achievable through the advancement of the agricultural sector.

The event served as a platform for Thapa to address both party challenges and broader national priorities, signaling a push for reform and strategic focus within the NC.
