Building Public Trust Imperative, Says NC General Secretary

Chitwan: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has emphasized the need for political leaders to build public trust through their actions.

Speaking at the conclusion of the NC Chitwan district committee’s 100-day campaign in Bharatpur on Saturday, Sharma highlighted that gaining the confidence of people from all walks of life is crucial for both the political party and the nation.

"People are disappointed now. In such a time, it is important to spread positive messages about the nation's opportunities and progress," Sharma stated. He urged party leaders and cadres to actively communicate the achievements of both the party and the government to inspire hope among citizens.

"The 100-day campaign was conducted with this objective in mind," he added, stressing that national progress, development, and prosperity should be the focus of political efforts.

During the event, NC leaders Madhu Acharya, Govinda Bhattarai, Rajeshwor Khanal, Uma Regmi, Tek Prasad Gurung, Indra Baniya, Subajkrishna Baniya, Jit Narayan Shrestha, and Bikas Koirala also spoke, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the party’s organization.
