Kathmandu:  The current weather conditions in the country are being influenced by local and westerly winds, along with a low-pressure system, as reported by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. These weather patterns are resulting in partly to generally cloudy skies in the hilly region of the country.

According to the department's analysis, there is a high probability of encountering light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in specific areas of Madhes, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. Residents and visitors to these regions should be prepared for these weather conditions. Additionally, the hilly and mountainous regions across the other provinces might also experience similar precipitation, although the intensity may vary.

Furthermore, the Department alerts residents of the Tarai belt to the possibility of storms occurring in some locations. It is essential for individuals in these areas to remain cautious and take necessary precautions during such weather events.
