Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has issued a special circular directing all provincial party presidents to complete voter list registration by Kartik 30, in line with the schedule announced by the Election Commission.
In a letter signed by General Secretaries Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Gagan Kumar Thapa, the party has drawn special attention to the Commission’s notice and urged all levels of the organization to carry out their responsibilities with urgency and discipline.
The circular, structured around four key points, emphasizes that “special responsibilities should be fulfilled in special circumstances in a special manner.”
The move comes as the interim government has officially set Falgun 21 as the date for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
The Nepali Congress has reiterated its commitment to cooperate with the government in ensuring a fair, credible, and participatory electoral environment.
