NC President Deuba Calls for Strong Youth Participation in Upcoming General Convention

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has emphasized the importance of ensuring meaningful youth participation in the party through the upcoming general convention.
During a meeting with youth leaders at his residence, President Deuba highlighted that youths would play a crucial role in unifying and strengthening the party ahead of the 15th General Convention. He urged the young leaders to work toward creating an environment that guarantees youth representation in the party’s central committee.
Reaffirming that the NC’s 15th General Convention will take place as scheduled on January 10–12, 2026, Deuba assured the delegation that youth inclusion is a priority.
The youth delegation included former NSU President and Constituent Assembly member Ranjeet Karn, former NSU Vice Presidents Pushpa Kumar Shahi and Nabin Rai, former NSU General Secretary Deepak Bhattarai, along with Shiva Rimal, Bardri Aryal, Dilip Dhungana, and others.
