Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli held a meeting on Wednesday, marking their first direct engagement since the September 8–9 Gen Z protest that led to the collapse of their coalition government.

According to Deuba’s secretariat, the two former prime ministers discussed contemporary political developments and the evolving national landscape. The meeting is seen as a significant step amid ongoing political recalibration following the youth-led demonstrations.
