Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa is leaving for his constituency, Sarlahi-4, today to step up election activities as the polling date draws closer.

Departure for Madhesh Today
President Thapa is scheduled to depart from Kathmandu to Simara by flight at 10:30 am today. After arriving at Simara Airport, he will travel to Sarlahi by road. Local leaders and party cadres are preparing a large reception to welcome him at the airport.

Focus on Election Strategy
After being elected party president through the special general convention and registering his candidacy for the House of Representatives from Sarlahi-4, Thapa’s visit is being seen as politically significant. Having left the relatively safe Kathmandu-4 constituency to contest from Madhesh, he plans to meet local cadres and hold intensive discussions on election strategies during this visit.

Political Activity Gains Momentum
Thapa’s presence in Sarlahi is expected to further energize the local political environment and boost enthusiasm among Nepali Congress workers, adding momentum to the party’s election campaign in the region.
