Tulsipur: In a recent development, Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary has expanded the Council of Ministers in Lumbini province after seven months. The cabinet has welcomed two new ministers, Krishna KC from CPN (Maoist Centre), appointed as Minister of Water Supply, Rural and Cooperatives Development, and Saroj Thapa from Nepali Congress, who will serve as Minister of Tourism and Transport.
Prior to this expansion, Lumbini's cabinet consisted of seven members, including the Chief Minister. With the addition of two ministers on Saturday, the provincial cabinet now comprises nine members. The newly appointed ministers are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy in a ceremony later today.
