Price of Petroleum Products Goes Down

Kathmandu: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, effective from Thursday. According to a press release issued by NOC on Wednesday, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 1 per litre, while diesel and kerosene oil prices have been reduced by Rs 2 per litre. The price of aviation fuel remains unchanged.

Following the price reduction, the new prices are as follows:

Petrol: Rs 167 per litre
Diesel and Kerosene oil: Rs 155 per litre
These prices are applicable in the regions of Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.

In Surkhet and Dang, the prices have been set at:

Petrol: Rs 169 per litre
Diesel and Kerosene oil: Rs 157 per litre

Meanwhile, in Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dipayal, the prices will be:

Petrol: Rs 170 per litre
Diesel and Kerosene oil: Rs 158 per litre
