Govt Believes Bangladesh Ensures Smooth Transition to Peace, Stability

Kathmandu: The government of Nepal has expressed confidence that Bangladesh will navigate a smooth transition towards peace and stability amid recent political upheavals.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Nepal government is closely monitoring the political developments in Bangladesh.
"We are deeply concerned about the loss of lives and properties during the protests over the last few weeks in Bangladesh. We convey our sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of those who lost lives and wish all those injured a speedy and full recovery," the statement read.
The Nepal government also called for calm and restraint from all parties involved, underscoring the importance of an orderly return to the democratic process in Bangladesh.
