Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, has expressed her strong commitment to the development of Sudurpaschim Province. During her visit to Dhangadhi to celebrate the Gaura festival, Minister Rana shared her discussions with Indian government authorities regarding the province's development during her recent visit to India.

Speaking at the inauguration of the newly constructed building of the Basic Health Centre and Ward Office at Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-4 on Wednesday, she highlighted her efforts to enhance regional infrastructure. She emphasized the importance of forming inclusive local governments with women's representation.

While acknowledging the significance of constructing physical infrastructure, she stressed that it is equally important for citizens to receive the services and facilities provided at the local level from these buildings and structures.

"Development is a gradual process," said Foreign Minister Rana. "It is encouraging to see ongoing development activities in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis, and I am very pleased with the progress."
