Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak has said he will present himself before the Commission of Inquiry formed to investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24.
Speaking to media persons after a meeting of the party’s Performance Committee on Wednesday, Lekhak, who was Home Minister at the time of the incidents, said he has decided to give a statement to the commission.
“The commission formed to investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24 has called me to seek information. I have decided to appear before it,” he said, adding that he will go to the commission on Monday, the 14th.
The Commission of Inquiry had earlier sent a formal letter to Lekhak, seeking his statement in connection with the incidents under investigation.
