Ballot Paper Printing Completed in 15 Districts for House of Representatives Election

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has completed the printing of ballot papers for the direct election of the House of Representatives in 15 districts ahead of the polls scheduled for Falgun 21.

According to the Commission, ballot papers for a total of 18 constituencies across these 15 districts have been printed so far. The printing work is being carried out at Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra in Bhaktapur.

The Commission informed that ballot papers for the direct election in Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla, Salyan and Jajarkot have been completed. Similarly, printing has also been finalized for Dailekh constituencies 1 and 2, Surkhet constituencies 1 and 2, Rukum Paschim, Bajura, Achham constituencies 1 and 2, Kailali constituency 1, Jhapa constituency 5 and Sunsari constituency 1.

So far, a total of 1,098,200 ballot papers for the direct election have been printed and delivered to the respective constituencies.
Meanwhile, the Commission has stated that the printing of 20.83 million ballot papers for the proportional electoral system has been fully completed.
