Nepal Aims to Strengthen Aviation Industry with French Partnership

Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and the Civil Aviation Authority of France have reached an agreement to enhance Nepal's air safety system.

In a significant step towards this goal, a four-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) focusing on technical and human resource management and development was signed in Paris, the capital of France, today.

The signing ceremony took place between the Director General of CAAN, Pradeep Adhikari, and Damien Caze representing the French civil aviation authority. According to CAAN, the MOU entails collaborative efforts to enhance the quality of air safety, including initiatives such as technical capacity building and training programs.

Through this partnership, Nepal aims to strengthen its aviation industry and improve overall safety standards in its airspace.
