Nepali Congress Mahasamiti Meeting Concludes, Unanimously Endorses Three Proposals for Further Consideration

Kathmandu: The Mahasamiti meeting of the Nepali Congress, convened at the Sunrise Conference Centre in Godavari, Lalitpur, concluded today with unanimous approval of three significant proposals.

These proposals, presented by Vice-president Purna Bahadur Khadka (policy proposal), General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa (organizational proposal), and General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma (contemporary political proposal), will be subject to finalization with modifications by the Central Working Committee based on the suggestions and recommendations received during the discussions.

The meeting served as a platform for creating a clear vision for the Congress, outlining its policy, organizational action plan, and addressing the contemporary political context. During the closed session, important recommendations were put forth by the members, as reported by NC publicity department chief Min Bahadur Bishwakarma.

All three proposals were unanimously approved by the Mahasamiti meeting, with the understanding that the Central Working Committee will further refine them based on the received suggestions. The meeting also gave its nod to the financial report presented by party spokesperson and Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, along with approving the audit report presented by accounts committee coordinator Shyam Prasad Ghimire.
