Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called on the public to place their trust in the government's efforts toward national development. Speaking at the 'Kathmandu Youth Conclave 2024,' PM Oli emphasized that the current government is committed to bringing about meaningful change and advancing the country's development.

Addressing questions from the youth, the Prime Minister highlighted the crucial role of young people in nation-building, stating that progress will be stunted unless the youth are engaged and aware of their importance. He expressed confidence that if a favorable environment is created in Nepal, many Nepali migrant workers abroad would choose to return home.

PM Oli also discussed the government's initiatives to create employment opportunities and promote education for the youth, mentioning plans to support startups. He reassured the audience of the government's commitment to fostering a conducive atmosphere for economic and social growth within the country.

In a separate event organized by the CPN (UML) Jhapa-Kathmandu Liaison Forum for the Teej festival, PM Oli spoke out against the spread of vulgarity and social discord in Nepali society, asserting that Nepal's unique arts, culture, and civilization make it an orderly society. He stressed the importance of fostering love and unity, both within families and the nation, and noted that festivals like Teej play a significant role in strengthening the bonds of Nepali society.

The event was also attended by Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal, Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Karki, and other dignitaries.
