Held at the party headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur, the meeting emphasized the need for collective action to uphold democratic values and the constitution.

Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, sharing the decisions with the media, urged party members to work towards the nation's transformation with confidence, stating, "The nation will be built." He also acknowledged the government's efforts in responding to recent natural disasters, while calling for continued support from all sectors to address post-disaster challenges.

Gyawali praised the contributions of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and party members who were actively involved in disaster response, emphasizing their role in rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts.

The party has directed its cadres and representatives to focus on the rehabilitation of survivors and complete the remaining search and rescue operations. Additionally, the UML instructed its local committees to finalize potential candidates for the upcoming by-elections scheduled for December 1, with decisions required by November 7.
