Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' expressed confidence that his party will emerge victorious in the upcoming polls without forming alliances with other political forces. Speaking at a program at the Maoist Centre's central office, Chairman Dahal highlighted ongoing internal discussions aimed at securing a solo victory.
"Party office-bearers' meeting is ongoing. The discussions are taking place with the plan to contest polls without making an alliance with other parties," stated Dahal. He welcomed cadres from various political parties into the Maoist Centre and underscored his belief in the party's triumph in the forthcoming elections.
Dahal emphasized the efforts of his government towards good governance and social justice during its 18-month tenure. "We have come out from the government by being the winner. We are out from the government by championing for good governance," he remarked.
He also criticized the current government, claiming it was formed with the support of those involved in corruption and irregularities. "We have to make people aware of this," he added.
In the same event, over 60 politicians from CPN (UML), Nepali Congress, Rastriya Swatantra Party, and other parties joined the Maoist Centre, indicating growing support for Dahal's leadership and the party's objectives.
