Maoist Centre to Push for Greater Left-Wing Unity

Kathmandu: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has begun discussions aimed at achieving broader left-wing unity within Nepal's political landscape. During a standing committee meeting held at Parisdanda, the party's vice-chair and spokesperson, Agni Prasad Sapkota, announced that Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' proposed an initiative to foster greater collaboration among left-wing forces.

The meeting focused on the importance of effectively addressing national and public issues both in parliament and through grassroots movements. Additionally, discussions were held on launching a campaign to rejuvenate and cleanse the party.

Chair Dahal shared his perspectives on recent political developments and outlined the party's future plans and direction. Senior leaders provided their insights and feedback on Dahal's proposals.

Sapkota also mentioned that the party's eighth general convention, which synthesized the party's past ideas and actions, will undergo further review. The next meeting of the Maoist Centre is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Sunday.
