Government to Unveil Policies and Programmes for Fiscal Year 2023-24 Tomorrow

Joint Session of Parliament Scheduled for Presentation at 4:00 pm

Kathmandu: The government is set to reveal its policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2023-24 on Friday. These plans will be presented during a joint session of the House of Representatives and National Assembly, taking place at 4:00 pm on May 19.

During today's House of Representatives session, Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed the members about the upcoming event through a letter. He directed all members to be present at the meeting by 3:45 pm, wearing the prescribed dress code, and occupying their designated seats.

Furthermore, the government's annual report for the fiscal year 2078-79 BS (2021-22) was presented during today's meeting. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal fulfilled this requirement in accordance with Article 53 of the Constitution and Clause 41 of the Good Governance (Management and Operation) Act, 2064 BS.

The next lower house meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm on May 19.
