Karnali Government Mobilizes Full-Scale Efforts in Earthquake-Hit Areas

Bheriganga (Surkhet): The government of Karnali Province has activated all available mechanisms in response to the earthquake-affected areas.
Chief Minister Raj Kumar Sharma is presently in his home district of Rukum, while Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Bedraj Singh, is located in Jajarkot. Several other ministers, including the Minister for Social Development, are on the ground in Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim, accompanied by government employees who are assisting with rescue and relief distribution efforts.
The Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest, and Environment also stepped in, distributing relief materials at Nalgadh Municipality in Jajarkot and Athbiskot Municipality in Rukum Paschim.
Minister Krishna Kumar BC made an appeal to all concerned to provide support to the earthquake survivors, who have been facing difficulties in obtaining warm clothing as the recent drop in temperatures intensifies their predicament. In addition to the cold weather, there is growing concern over the aftershocks, as one was recorded on Monday afternoon.
