Kathmandu: Today's weather outlook indicates a mix of partial cloudiness in certain areas and overall clear conditions across the nation, as per assessments from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. The prevailing weather pattern is attributed to the influence of westerly winds complemented by localized wind dynamics.

Currently, Sudur Paschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partial cloud cover, while the remaining provinces enjoy clear skies. There is a likelihood of sporadic light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in select hilly regions of Koshi province and certain areas within the hilly terrain of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Additionally, isolated instances of light snowfall may occur in the higher elevated hilly and mountainous locales.

Later tonight, the weather is expected to maintain its clarity across the nation, with the exception of potential light rain and thunderstorms forecasted for isolated hilly regions within the Koshi and Gandaki zones. Notably, Lumbini and specific locations within the plains of Sudurpaschim Province are anticipated to encounter stormy conditions, as outlined in the morning's weather bulletin issued by the Department.

This forecast serves as a precautionary measure for residents and travelers in the aforementioned regions to stay informed and prepared for potential weather fluctuations and associated impacts.
