Kathmandu: The monsoon season has fully withdrawn from Nepal as of Saturday, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
While the monsoon began its retreat on October 6, it fully exited the country by October 12, affecting regions such as Bagmati, Madhesh, and Koshi provinces.
This year's monsoon arrived four days later than expected and took an additional six days to fully retreat. The delayed arrival and extended withdrawal have been noted as part of the seasonal variations observed in the country.
