Heavy Rainfall Expected in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces

Kathmandu: The weather across the country remains partly to mostly cloudy, with light to moderate rainfall occurring in parts of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and isolated areas elsewhere, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Monsoon winds are still influencing the weather, with an afternoon forecast predicting light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, as well as a few places in Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
For tonight, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas, with a chance of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
