Light to Moderate Rainfall Likely in Hilly Regions

Kathmandu: The weather across Nepal is expected to remain partly cloudy to mostly cloudy in hilly regions, with light rainfall reported in some areas. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology attributed this to ongoing monsoon activity.
Currently, light rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in parts of Karnali Province. As the day progresses, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will experience partly to mostly cloudy conditions, with a chance of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Other provinces are expected to remain mostly clear.
Tonight, there will be a continued chance of light to moderate rainfall in Karnali Province and in hilly areas of other regions. In the next 24 hours, Karnali and Sudurpaschim are forecasted to receive more rain, along with the hilly parts of other provinces.
