Kathmandu: The monsoon season continues to impact various parts of Nepal, with partial effects of the low-pressure system formed around South-West Bangladesh influencing the eastern and central regions of the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Koshi and Bagmati provinces are experiencing partly to mostly cloudy skies, with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas.
Weather Forecast for Today: This afternoon, hilly regions of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will see partly cloudy to mostly clear skies, with the possibility of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms at some locations in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. A few isolated areas in other provinces may also experience similar weather conditions. Heavy rainfall is expected in one or two places within the Koshi region.
Tonight: The weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms forecasted for a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and isolated areas in the rest of the country.
Saturday Forecast: On Saturday, the weather will continue to be partly to mostly cloudy across Nepal. Light to moderate rain, along with thunderstorms, is expected in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and at one or two places in the remaining provinces.
Sunday Forecast: Sunday's weather will remain similar, with partly to mostly cloudy skies across the country. Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with isolated rainfall in the rest of the country. The same pattern will persist through Sunday night, particularly in hilly areas.
